That’s something #CCP doesn’t want anyone to remember.
Only a few survived the tragedy, Fang Zheng is one of the very few.
The tank rolled right over him as he and other students soberly retreated west along Changan Avenue after leaving Tiananmen Square. He lost his legs forever, he’s lucky make it out and he’s now living in CA
But #TiananmenMothers lost their brave kids forever. Her only child died protest against #CCP, nobody would take care of them, they’re under 24/7 surveillance, they’ll need permits to pay respect to their kids.
For 30 straight years, #HongKong people initiated candlelight vigil in Victoria Park to commemorate the tragedy.
Govt banned the event back in 2020, by shutting down part of the park.
2021 June 4th, This was the last time for #AppleDaily, a pro-democracy media outlet in #HongKong, covered the news of June 4th.
Ppl holding LED candlelight, wear in black were searched by police. Cops even ban ppl placing bouquet outside the park.
