Dear friends! We've decided to launch a new series called "letters from prison". As you know, #HongKong has probably got more activists in prison than at liberty. It may seem like there are very little we can do for them at times, but what we do know is that they are still trying to communicate with the outside world and will not be forgotten! This is why we dedicate our new series to translating their letters to you.

These letters will be taken from their social media pages, we urge you to follow them as well and write to them. We'd also like to say that there are A LOT of #HongKongers imprisoned who are not famous at all, but they mustn't be forgotten either. Please do write to them as well to let them know that they are not alone.

Professor #BennyTai has served his sentence for unauthorized assembly, and is now back in detention awaiting his #nationalsecuritylaw trial. It’s effectively imprisonment, but visitors can see him more frequently and bring him letters!
