They are always around. Whenever you read the news you see celebrities' love affairs and pregnancies, as if some "invisible creature" hell bent on making you think the way they think. Human beings don't have to live like this. I could be relaxing in the sun like Diogenes, or thinking about "logos" in the mountains like Heraclitus. Since there has never been any real humanist philosophy on this land, I can create it for myself. Lying flat is my philosophy, only by lying flat can man be the measure of all things.
