Thank you, #Germany, for giving a helping hand to #HongKong's brave freedom fighters. We urge other Western countries to follow the lead of Germany and offer lifeboats to the persecuted. Moreover, earlier this month, a petition to the German parliament asking to discuss sanctioning #China has been passed, we hope that 🇩🇪, among many other countries that stand by values of human rights and democracy, will see the dire need to rid the world of an evil regime like #CCP.

Another note: It is NEVER easy to leave your home country to start a new life where the culture, customs and language are so different. There are danger everywhere, e.g. this particular female protester reported of being sexually abused by a staff member in the refugee camp. Please stay safe and never bow down to injustice. HKers and freedom fighters around the world are walking with you.
