Police in Hong Kong arrested a 52 years old man for "illegal possession of a firearm" - for having an ARC LIGHTER.
But again, even a laser pointer can get you months of jail time .. are we really surprised this time? Probably not given how "excellent" this police force and legislative system are.
PS: Apparently, for some reason it is illegal to possess an electric arc lighter in Hong Kong and it’s is considered as “firearm”, but people can still easily purchase one online and the lighter is not banned across the HK-China border (and obviously not really dangerous …..)
