Logically speaking, the number of people that died/has adverse event is clearly statistically insignificant, and those who died are generally of high risk.
Nonetheless it’s clear that citizens’ distrust of the CCP and the HK government is so high that people would rather not take the vaccine.
There’s a handful of covid vaccines available, why would anyone with a sane mind take CCP’s if there’s a choice? Will you?

TLDR: Because of #TiananmenMassacre, #HongKong has never fully trusted #CCP, fearing that the promise of #democracy will never be realized and our way of life and #freedom will be crushed in the most brutal way. The violent crackdown of 2019's democratic movement and the arbitrary imposition of #nationalsecuritylaw are pretty much our worst nightmare come true.

The way they try to censor us only shows that they want absolute, unquestioning, blind loyalty for the party, which shamelessly conflates itself with the "country". This year, commemorative events all around the world will show #CCP that it cannot distort history, however many surveillance cameras it installs and tanks and missiles it has.

In recent years there were many debates around whether #HKers should commemorate #Tiananmen at all, since so many people do not see #China as their motherland, and we might have seen the last Tiananmen vigil in 2020. If that was the end of the HK vigils, then it has probably served its historical function of passing down the truth, and now it's up to us to keep reminding the world the blood on #CCP's hands. And when Hong Kong is liberated, perhaps we'll meet each other again in Victoria Park.

No doubt #HongKong is now a #policestate. Security officials are not held accountable to their violation of the law, more seriously - there are no way to know if they are connected to the #RAPE accusation, or if the dinner conference is related to #CORRUPTION. #CarrieLam's #doublestandard is appalling as she brushed these serious questions aside, the same week as she claims that #students from #HKU who mourned the suicide of Leung Kin-fai as "shameful and enraging". #ChrisTang even asked #HKers to be considerate as the three high officials sacrificed their time with family to attend this illegal dinner party.
