HK9Cake shop hires activists who have been arrested and previously jailed for their roles in the 2019 pro-democracy protests. In the afternoon of 12 Feb, pro-CCP people (?) picked a quarrel in the cake shop and lingered, believed to be checking out the area before making the attack 10pm that evening. The staffs suffered bone fractures and were taken to the hospital.
