Pro-Beijing Lawmaker Demands to Remove the Image of U.S. Staute of Liberty from Hong Kong Asia Expo
The Asia World-Expo (AWE), Hong Kong's largest convention and exhibition center, was to be transformed into a China-modeled "cabin hospital" to treat COVID-19 patients. Pro-Beijing lawmaker Elizabeth Quat posted her social network that she received 'complains' of a photo of the U.S. "Statue of Liberty" found in AWE. She recommended the Hospital Authority (HA) to remove it.
