A 21-yrs-old was charged with possessing anything with intent to damage property (34 plastic strips on Nov 11, 2019 in Chai Wan).

Judiciary has agreed to drop the charge, the defendant has to sign a probation order of 12 months and pay for $500 court costs.

Police Pepperspray Reporters and Peaceful Civilians Without Warning

According to witness report, a police officer slipped, causing panic among his peers. Without any prior warning, the police pepper-sprayed the civilians and reporters on site.

Police then raised blue flag and accused the reporters and passersby walking on the pavement of "illegal assembly".

Meanwhile, as police charged in Dundas Street and Sai Yeung Choi South Street, many civilians were trapped inside the H&M shop.

After the reporters were peppersprayed, shops were shut down, as police vehicles arrived for reinforcement.

Police call Civilians "Cockroaches"; Officer Conceals Operation Call Name with Cling Wrap

Some riot police were emotionally charged up and hurled abuses at citizens in downtown Mongkok on Sunday, June 28, calling them “cockroaches” and threatening them with pepper spray.

One officer was seen covering his operation call name with cling wrap, showing a big contrast with those call names revealed.

Netizens called for a “silent rally” on June 28 along streets in Mong Kok and Jordan district, where there was no assembly and no chanting of protest slogans.
