Close by, a man who was earlier hit by pepper spray was receiving medical treatment.

Young Student, Who Was Shot By Traffic Police With Live Rounds Was Charged By the Police

On 11 Nov 2019, a 21-year-old student surnamed Chow was shot by a traffic police with three live rounds near Sai Wan Ho MTR station, where protesters had blocked roads.

Chow, together with another young man surnamed Wu, were arrested for allegedly attempting to snatch a police officer’s gun.

On May 28, police announced that after having conducted further investigation and consulted legal opinion, Chow and Wu were charged for “deliberately obstruct the police in the execution of their lawful duties” and “attempting to snatch a police officer’s gun”.

The case will be mentioned on 2 June at West Kowloon Magistrates' Courts.

Citizens gathered at the Landmark atrium over lunchtime for a 'Lunch with You' activity. Large groups of people were gathered along the balconies surrounding the atrium. At the same time, there were quite a number of people at the atrium as well. People could be seen displaying materials linked to the protest. At the same time, there were also many people seen waving flags that read 'Liberate Hong Kong, Revolution of Our Times'. Some also held the 'Hong Kong Independence' flag.

We could see people coming from all walks of life gathering for 'Lunch with You' today, from secondary school students to working adults and the elderly.

"Lennon Way" in Mei Foo shows Protests and Oppression under CPC Regime

Commemorations for the June Forth Massacre were held across the city. In Mei Foo, different forms of street art was set up. Beautiful posters paved a “Lennon Way” for all passersby to look on, while a black umbrella, on which written the lyrics of the protest anthem “Glory to Hong Kong” in calligraphy. An artist set up an artwork, displaying the human right atrocities committed under the CPC governance, represented by the tank with the words “brainwash”, “tamper history”. It includes the 709 Crackdown, a nationwide crackdown on right-defense lawyers and human right activists in China, the untold deaths under the Coronavirus pandemic, as well as many others.

Today marks the one year anniversary of 6/9, when 1 in 7 Hong Kong citizens, totaling 1.03 million went out and marched on the streets to speak up against the Extradition Bill.

Riot police hurls insults and targets members of Demosisto: "The cockroaches’ home needs close monitoring”

Around 5pm on June 9, 5 police cars parked at on Hennessy Road in Wanchai nearby the Foo Tak Building and more than 20 riot police were sighted stationed near the building entrance. When Nathan Law Kwun-Chung and Ivan Lam Long-yin, Committee member and Chairman of Demosisto step-out out of the building, they were immediately encircled and searched by the riot police.

Tiffany Yuen Ka-wai, district councilor of Southern District expressed that the police officers standing-by referred to this location as “the cockroaches’ home that needs close monitoring.”
