Cathay Pacific Aircraft Carried a Wuhan Coronavirus victim Continued to be Used Without Disinfection for Over 30 Times
The second confirmed case of Wuhan pneumonia in Japan was a passenger who transited from Wuhan to Tokyo via Hong Kong on January 19. Cathay Pacific confirmed the two flights the patient took this evening (Jan 24) and said it would disinfect the two aeroplanes.
According to records, the patient stayed in Hong Kong shortly for only 1 hour and 50 minutes, but the two aeroplanes he flew on were later used for another 18 and 15 flights to and from 12 destinations respectively.
Staff members of Cathay Pacific revealed that routine cleaning work of a plane is usually roughly conducted. They expressed their deep concern that it is insufficient to inhabit any virus.

Residents desperate for decent food after lockdown
//A resident surnamed Cheng said he had been eating instant noodles for two days. He said he was going to leave immediately and have dinner at his mother's home. Another resident said she had also been living off instant noodles as she didn't have a stove. She said she would go and buy some warm food.
Meanwhile a man, surnamed Tsang, said he was relieved that he could finally get out of his home.
“I was so bored as I live alone. I had run out of everything. I need to buy a pack of cigarettes,” he said.
One man, a Muslim, said the government had failed to provide Halal food. Luncheon meat, containing pork which is forbidden to Muslims, had been included in government food packages, though other items, such as pasta and tinned tuna, were also provided.
“We don't have anything to eat because we are Muslims and we eat Halal food,” he said.//

Pregnant Woman in Hong Kong Suffers Premature Delivery and Severe Bleeding after Police Brutality
A Hong Kong civilian in her 7 months of pregnancy was intercepted and searched for unknown reason by police officers on January 20, 2021.
During the search operation, she was reportedly being cuffed with her hands at her back, pulled and dragged by officers on the ground. Later on, she was arrested on suspicion of “obstructing police officer for conducting duties”.
The pregnant woman surnamed Lau told reporters that with concern for COVID19, she asked to stand aloof to three other civilians at the scene of the police operation while handing in her ID card for police investigation as requested.
In response to her request, a police officer hurled insults at her, calling her “damn fat woman”. Lau said she repeatedly told the police officers that she is pregnant. The officers ignored her even when she hunched on the ground due to acute pain and plead for immediate medical assistance.
A couple of days later, she was hospitalized on January 23, 2021 for symptoms of premature birth and severe bleeding. She later delivered a baby boy prematurely who was admitted to the intensive care ward for critical conditions.
