On Jordan Road, a newspaper stand was lit on fire and a tear gas canister was found in the debris. The owner was dragged away by riot police as he tried to put out the flames. The wife of the owner said that she will try and make a complaint against the police.

Police Delay Arrestees' Medical Treatment

Police cordoned off the scene at 02:45, claiming that not before the police finished collecting evidence, could the paramedics treat the wounded. Among many others, the two people in the photos had waited for more than one hour to receive medical assistance.

Protest goes on in Central: Lunch With You

A group of civilians walked onto Pedder Street to join the "Lunch With You" protest in Central, a financial district in Hong Kong. Riot police arrived at the scene and blue flag was raised. The police spoke through the loudspeaker: "You can continue with your activity, but don't walk onto the road." The crowd walked back onto the sidewalk and continued chanting slogans.

Hong Kong Soccer fans boo Chinese anthem and sing “Glory to Hong Kong” at Hong Kong-Cambodia Game

In the Hong Kong Stadium, soccer fans yelled protest slogans such as “Liberate Hong Kong, Revolution of our times,” “Five demands, Not one less,” and “Fight for freedom, Stand with Hong Kong!” at the World Cup Qualifiers on November 19.

When the Chinese anthem was played before the match, soccer fans turned about face, held banners comdemning police brutality, booed and sang “Glory to Hong Kong", one emblematic song of the protest, instead.

CUHK Graduates March In Support Of 12 HK Youth

Today is the graduation ceremony of CUHK. Although the ceremony was organised online due to the coronavirus, over 50 graduates march from the Goddess of Democracy in CUHK and then across the campus in the afternoon to voice their support to the 12 Hong Kong youth being illegally detained in the mainland.

Apart from their graduation gown, some wore the Vedetta mask and held slogans. Others even held black balloons. The security guards of CUHK used megaphones to warn protestors that they may be in violation of the gathering ban, and order them to keep the social distance. Some even started to stop and frisk the graduates, but they didn’t stop the protests so far.
