Labour Unions Set Up Booths at the Universal Siege on Communists Assembly

Apart from the black “Liberate Hong Hong, The Revolution Of Our Times” flag, there were other flags representing labour unions from various industries at the Assembly.
Labour union have also set up booths at the venue. Unions such as the Union for New Civil Servants, Railway Power, Construction Site Workers General Union, Catering and Hotel Industries Employees General Union, Hong Kong Hotel Employees Union, HA Employees Alliance, The General Union of Hong Kong Speech Therapists, Hong Kong Design Industries Union all had booths set-up.

The Police pinned down a man around the intersection of Ice House Street and Dex Voeux Road Central. Mutiple times pointing their pepper spray at surrounding journalists. The man was later released.

1630 | A riot policeman fired a tear gas outside The Landmark at Central. He then burst into hysterical laughter, laughing at the civilians. That policeman was in a state of unusual hyperactivity, dancing in sync to the explosions from the tear gas canister. He only put on his gas mask when the smoke started reaching him.

First-aider Who Assisted The Injured Was Hit By Police With Baton

While providing medical assistance at Soy Street in Mong Kok, a volunteer first-aider was hit by police with baton. The first-aider had redness and swelling on his head. He immediately requested the police officer for his warrant card. However, another team of riot police arrived at the scene and pushed all first-aiders with long shields. Another first-aider was taken into the police cordon for further interception.
