Public Transport Near the Airport and AsiaWorld Expo Suspended due to the Presentation of the 2019 District Council Election Candidates
1. From 1pm onwards, the Airport Express will not stop between the Hong Kong Station and the Airport.
2. From 2pm onwards, E-numbered buses, apart from E21A and E31, will terminate their services in Tung Chung.
3. From 3pm onwards, all S-numbered airport shuttle buses will stop running.
The limited traffic allowed to access the Airport and the AsiaWorld Expo is due to the government's presentation of the 2019 District Council Election candidates in AsiaWorld Expo (which is accessible by the Airport Express and from the Airport) on October 24.
Apple Daily compared this to a "curfew" as the authorities do not want any crowd to show up in the area.

The MTR company has paid the renovation fee of the Police Sports and Recreation Club at Prince Edward, triggering controversy in the city after Transport and Housing Bureau had confirmed the operation upon the request of pro-democracy lawmaker.
