Police Ticket At Least 2 Reporters with Press Pass for Violating Gathering Ban

Police ticketed at least 2 reporters from the online news media Daily Record for violating the gathering ban, despite the fact that the reporters were wearing reflective vests and their press pass.
Each ticket carries a fine of HKD2,000.
According to Cap. 599G Regulation,
group gatherings "at a place of work for the purposes of work"
are exempted from penalty.
