Police Officers Loses Tools During Investigation
Four officers from the Organised Crime and Triad Bureau accidentally lost two flashlights, a pair of goggles and a tablet computer while operating in Mong Kok on 4 January. Upon receiving the report, an investigation was immediately launched which was managed by the concerning officer and his affiliated unit. The case was classified as "lost government property", and the police claimed that the tablet contained no personal data.
Police reiterated that the force had strict regulations on the storage and usage of equipment. They asked members of the public to call 999 immediately or hand over the items to the nearest police station if the lost items were found.

O記探員旺角執勤遺失裝備 (23:31) - 20200105 - 港聞
4名有組織罪案及三合會調查科(O記)探員,昨日(4日)早上在旺角執勤時,意外遺失兩支電筒、一副護目鏡及一部平板電腦。警方接獲遺失裝備報告後立即展開調查,案件列作「遺失政府財物」,由有關人員所屬單位跟進調查。警方稱,該部平板電腦並沒有個人資料。
