Pro-Establishment supporters clash with bypassers outside Radio Station

2043 | Kowloon Tong
Some pro-Establishment supporters waited outside RTHK broadcasting house for pro-Beijing lawmaker Junius Ho. Someone yelled, "we should give Lawmaker Ho a round of applause when he comes out!"

Supporters of Ho held signs that say, "Support warrior wolf Ho".

The supporters of Lawmaker Junius Ho had conflict with a bypasser. A man who was allegedly a gangster and suspected plain-clothed police officers protected that bypasser to leave. A woman with an obvious Chinese mainland accent yelled, "These yellow bastards don't dare to come at us!".

#LukedePulford: UK's Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal to 'Prosecute' Beijing Loyalist #JuniusHo and Remove him from the UK Solicitors Register

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (#SRA), a licensing body that regulates solicitors in England and Wales, has taken action and scheduled a hearing of Junius Ho's case in the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal.

With the latest news from SRA, Hong Kong Watch's fellow Luke de Pulford commented that "people who spout hate, incite violence and encourage authoritarianism have no place practising law in the UK."

In October 2019, Anglia Ruskin University (#ARU) in the UK has revoked Ho's honorary degree citing Ho's conduct and public behaviour as a concern. This came after Ho's alleged connection with the white-clad assailants in Yuen Long 7.21 triad attack on train passengers, reporters and pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong in 2019.

Foul-mouthed pro-CCP lawyer could be “kicked-out” from UK lawyers’ register for suggesting “killing” HK independence advocates “without mercy”

CCP-loyal lawmaker and lawyer #JuniusHo is facing a hearing by the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal in London in December this year, over remarks he made in 2017 about killing Hong Kong independence advocates 'without mercy'.

The UK's Solicitors Regulation Authority said Ho remarks at the rally and subsequently on his Facebook could be perceived as inciting violence against opponents and could cause offense. The Tribunal will decide whether to remove Ho from the UK register after the hearing.

At a pro-establishment rally in September 2017, Chairman of the Ping Shan Rural Committee, Tsang Shu-wo said on stage that Hong Kong independence advocates should be killed. Ho went along supporting him and shouted “without mercy” into his microphone.
