US President Trump Condemns China for “Absolutely smothering Hong Kong's freedom" and Announces Review of "Full Range" of Policies Towards Hong Kong

A Summary of Trump's press conference:

1. Termination of the United States' relationship with the World Health Organization.

2. Sanctions on Chinese and HKSAR officials responsible for eroding the autonomy of Hong Kong.

3. Revoke Hong Kong's preferential treatment as a separate customs and travel territory from the rest of the People's Republic of China.

4. Suspend people from China deemed as "security risks" from being allowed to enter the United States, including perhaps the expulsion of Chinese students in the US considered to pose potential security threats

5. Investigate Chinese companies listed in the US and their practices to protect American investors

Trump also added, "China has replaced the promised formula of One Country Two Systems with One Country One System."

Citizens gathered at the Landmark atrium over lunchtime for a 'Lunch with You' activity. Large groups of people were gathered along the balconies surrounding the atrium. At the same time, there were quite a number of people at the atrium as well. People could be seen displaying materials linked to the protest. At the same time, there were also many people seen waving flags that read 'Liberate Hong Kong, Revolution of Our Times'. Some also held the 'Hong Kong Independence' flag.

We could see people coming from all walks of life gathering for 'Lunch with You' today, from secondary school students to working adults and the elderly.

Citizens gathered at the APM atrium over lunchtime for a 'Lunch with You' activity. Large groups of people were seen gathered at the atrium and along the balconies surrounding it. Protestors were seen displaying materials linked to the protest. At the same time, there were also many people seen waving flags that read 'Liberate Hong Kong, Revolution of Our Times' and 'Hong Kong Independence', showing the growing distrust of the Chinese Government among the citizens.

Today marks the one year anniversary of 6/9, when 1 in 7 Hong Kong citizens, totaling 1.03 million went out and marched on the streets to speak up against the Extradition Bill.
