Conflicts arise at the Naku La region of the Sikkim state in India, with 20 casualties for the Chinese soldiers and four Indian soldiers. China and India held the 9th military conference, which took place for 16 hours, on Jan 24. Reports quoted sources that India on the convention restated that China is responsible for avoiding further military contact. However, the conference result is yet to be known.
The report also quoted sources that China has the responsibility to degrade the military friction and that both parties need to refrain from all conflicts. However, the conference result is yet to be known. Due to the military and diplomatic negotiations yet to have any progress, nearly 100 thousand Indian and Chinese soldiers are still on guard in the eastern region of Ladakh.
