THE WORLD MUST UNITE AGAINST #CCP!
-
“For a long time too many laboured under the fantasy that China would be a strategic partner with the west, perhaps even one part of the democratic world. The process of awakening from this illusion takes time," said #NathanLaw, after his exile to #UK. Europe had said "never again" after WWII, appeasement after #TiananmenMassacre not only didn't democratize #China, #CCP grew into an even bigger monster.

The first time since #Tiananmen Massacre in 1989, #EU is set to sanction human rights abusers in #China! Senior #EU officials will start the sanctions which include travel ban and freezing of assets of officials responsible for the human rights atrocities against Uyghurs in #Xinjiang or #East Turkestan. These sanctions will need formal sign-off, we're banking on it to happen. However, we must also take notice that the Netherlands remains the only European country so far with a parliament that voted to formally recognize #CCP's action as genocide. Do keep up, Europe! At the same time, we urge #Canada, whose parliament has declared CCP's action as genocide to sanction #Chinese officials responsible for the torture, rape and murder of thousands of ethnic minorities!

#LINE Reportedly Forbids the Mentioning of "Tiananmen Incident"

According to a Japanese netizen, the instant text messanger LINE bans the phrase "Tiananmen Incident" in its memo function "Keep".

The Tiananmen Incident generally refers to the Tiananmen Square Massacre on June 4, 1989 in Beijing.

The original post in Twitter was, however, removed.

China Planning 'Unprecedented' Tiananmen Memorial Crackdown: Report

Beijing will take "unprecedented heavy-handed measures" to crack down on next month's vigil in Hong Kong to mark the Tiananmen Square massacre, a Beijing-friendly local outlet said Tuesday.

The annual gathering in Victoria Park—banned on health grounds for a second year running—is a "minefield" for those planning to attend on June 4, according to online news portal HK01. It will be the first memorial since China's sweeping Hong Kong national security law came into effect on June 30 last year.
