#Montana is also moving to prohibit its citizens from accessing #TikTok within the state. The bill, which has made its way to the governor’s desk, stated that if passed, app stores would be fined every time TikTok is accessed within the state.

#Austria is the newest country to ban the #TikTok app on government-issued phones: the app will be put on a “no fly” list. Back in the U.S., #Montana has also banned the app, but from personal phones as well.

#Montana has become the first U.S. state to fully ban #TikTok. Both Google and Apple app stores are not allowed to offer TikTok in the state of Montana, and will be #Fined if users access the app within state lines.

#TikTok is suing #Montana over a bill that would ban the app in the state starting next year. The company filed the lawsuit on Monday. It alleges the ban violates the U.S. Constitution, as well as other federal laws.
