A pregnant school teacher narrowly escaped a #ForcedAbortion after she was arrested in #China for her faith. To avoid persecution, she went homeless, which led to the death of her unborn baby.
Li Fengmei, a former English teacher from Liaoning Province, suffered endless abuses for her belief in "truthfulness, compassion, tolerance." Officers told her that she was arrested because of her "eloquence and good reputation,” adding that if they could make her renounce her #faith, they could then use her to transform other detainees.

A young son, who fled communist #China in 2012, is exposing the persecution of his 58-year-old dad who has been severely tortured for his #faith.
Eric Jia was just 11 years old when he last saw his dad, Ye Jia, imprisoned in a jail in China. Ye has been unlawfully detained several times in the past two decades for his faith in the values of “Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance,” the three core teachings of #FalunGong. Even his grandma and an elderly aunt have been persecuted.
His father was locked to a bunk bed and handcuffed for more than 12 hours a day. Due to the torture, he lost weight, suffered from hemoptysis, black sputum, and liver pain. “He was locked in a small room for 6 years ... He was only allowed to go out when there was a ‘yearly reporting time,’ which happened only twice a year."

When Chinese police officers arrested a woman for refusing to give up her #faith, they told her 4-year-old son that she is on a "business trip.” The woman was already on the run to avoid #persecution and had taken a chance to meet her little son after not seeing him for over a year, but, unfortunately, she couldn’t escape the communist officials’ surveillance.
