Australia PM to legislate disposal of Belt and Road Initiative agreement between Victoria and China

Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, will be legislating next week to ban multiple deals with foreign governments which are found not to be in line with national interest, one of which is the multi-million-dollar Belt and Road Initiative agreement between Victoria and Beijing.

The Australian has reported that this is an unprecedented move against Chinese interference and the protection of state secrets.

Thousands of pounds from Britain’s coronavirus bailout pot for the cultural sector goes to music festival promoting “world control” by China

Art Council England awarded £78K to Belt and Road China-UK music festival. Supported by China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, it promotes the country’s Belt and Initiative, which has been accused of ensnaring poorer countries in debt traps by funding infrastructure projects.

The chairman of the Commons’ Foreign Affairs Committee, condemned the grant and said, “it’s one thing to tolerate Chinese propaganda, it’s quite another to pay for it.”

#HSBC installed #CCP member is an example of how CCP infiltrate in to foreign corporations. It was done in several listed developers in #HK. #HSBC, which its headquarters based in #UK, is the 1st foreign financial group to do so. If nothing is done, more companies interested in the Chinese market will be forced to install CCP member as well.

How does that affect the local people? Soon, we will realize that HSBC best interest is to benefit CCP rather than it's stakeholders. They will make investment in China which will surely not make any profit, for ex: the #BeltandRoadInitiative.
