當海外英國人被「中式公義」侵犯......
2013年7月，中國警察於上海拘捕英國人彼德．韓飛龍，並指控他涉嫌販賣私人資料。韓飛龍否認指控，但一直被中共無理拘留長達十三個月。在拘留期間，韓飛龍屢次「被露面」於多家電視台，身穿橙色囚衣及被扣上手銬地「承認」其控罪。最終，經過一次無家屬或領事館職員旁聽的審訊之後，韓飛龍被判處入獄30個月及罰款十數萬元人民幣。然而，其判刑極為嚴苛；在上海，同類形的案件最高判刑一般只為緩刑及少量罰款，總部設於倫敦的非政府志願組織「Fair Trials International」亦指出，該次審訊並不合乎公平審訊的國際標準。
韓飛龍被囚禁期間，他只能獲得少量藥物以治療其前列腺癌。他亦被要求為跨國企業，如3M、C&A、H&M 等擔任生產工作。他受到的對待，違反了多條聯合國有關監禁及酷刑的條款。在2015年6月初，韓飛龍幸運地以治病為由提早獲釋。

2015年10月，身為瑞典公民的桂民海在泰國突然失蹤。其後，中共表示他已「自首」回到中國，為他過往犯下的駕駛事故服刑。然而，身為專門出售禁書的銅鑼灣書店股東，桂民海極有可能是被中國情報機關綁架回到中國。 在囚期間，中國政府也同樣地發佈了一段在獄中拍攝的「認罪」影片。兩年後，桂民海刑滿獲釋，但其後一直被軟禁。 2018年1月，桂民海在與瑞典駐上海總領事一起乘坐火車期間，再次被中國官員擄走，未審先囚，至今仍未能重獲自由。
英國的民主自由正受侵害。英國必須停止對中國的綏靖政策，要對侵犯人權者實施制裁，並給香港抗爭者提供庇護，予英國國民（海外）平權。

In July 2013, Chinese police arrested Peter Humphrey, a Briton, in Shanghai for trafficking private data, a charge he denies. For 13 months, he was held in a spartan detention centre without trial. During that time, he was paraded on state television in handcuffs and orange prison vest to “confess” his crime. Finally, after a one-day trial (closed to family members and consular officials), he was given a 30-month prison sentence and a 150,000 Yuan fine. The punishment was far harsher than earlier cases in Shanghai where the harshest punishment was a suspended sentence and a small fine. A London-based NGO Fair Trials International considers that trial violated international fair trial standards.
During his prison term, he was only allowed limited medical care for his prostate cancer and was made to do manufacturing jobs for MNCs like 3M, C&A and H&M. After going through the UN treaties on imprisonment and torture, he found that the Chinese failed to comply on several counts. Fortunately, he was released early in June 2015 because of his illness.

In October 2015, Gui Minhai, a Swedish national, vanished from his apartment in Thailand and later emerged in China where he was imprisoned for a traffic accident. He was a publisher of scandalous books about Chinese politics. In all likelihood, he was abducted by Chinese secret agent. During his imprisonment, the Chinese government released a video of his ‘confession’. He was released after two years and was subsequently held under house arrest. In January 2018, while traveling on a train with the Swedish Consul General in Shanghai, he was once again snatched by Chinese officials. Since then, he has been held in custody without trial.
It is time to stand up for British value and stop appeasing the Chinese. #StandwithHongKong by implementing Magnitsky Act, giving sanctions to Hong Kong protesters and granting equal rights to British National (Overseas).
