As human beings, we all have a responsibility to speak up for the oppressed. #China's abuse of #Uyghurs is atrocious. Glad to see some actions are finally taken but it's far from enough!

It is understood that almost ONE THIRD of the tuition fees of the #UniversityofGlasgow are from Chinese students. The school has yet to retract this partnership, but said that they are dedicated to upholding academic freedom. Really?! What about the freedoms of the #Uyghurs, #Kazahks and other ethnic minorities repressed by #CCP which controls your "academic partner" too? Are they naive or just hypocritical?
