【將港傳媒與內地傳媒看齊】眾新聞得悉，在北京的駐華外國記者協會（Foreign Correspondents' Club of China，FCCC）以要「保護」該會在華運作及「減少政治風險」為由，建議修改章程不再容許香港或澳門記者入會，而在香港傳媒工作的外籍記者也只能成為附屬會員，並無投票權。
協會建議變相與香港傳媒割席及與大陸傳媒看齊，在北京外媒記者圈中引起頗大迴響，尤其是駐華外國記者協會並未說明中國外交部是否曾經具體要求要「踢走」香港記者。據悉，有在北京的香港記者已不續會以示抗議，令駐華外國記者協會中暫無來自香港的正式會員。
