05/22/2024 ABC News reports that the #CDC has confirmed a second human case of #bird #flu. A #Michigan farmworker who worked with cows has been diagnosed with bird flu, developed mild symptoms, and has since recovered. This is the second human case associated with an outbreak in U.S. dairy cows. The first case occurred in #Texas. No human-to-human transmission has been detected.
