英國港僑協會成功獲得英國政府撥款資助，與七個全國 / 地區的志願及社區機構共同展開第二期的「移英港人家園計劃」，根據英國政府歡迎港人的四項政策目標，向BN(O)港人及家屬提供遍及全國的服務。
「移英港人家園計劃」的策略重點是：
融入及參與當地社區生活
促進就業機會
建立社群關係，以及
保障心理健康及福祉

Hongkongers in Britain (HKB) has successfully received grant funding from the UK government, to continue our UK-wide project, Mission PERM, into phase 2, with 7 national/regional VCSEs. Our project will continue to provide UK-wide support for BN(O) integration in line with the UK government's four national objectives of welcoming Hongkongers. HKB “Knowing taxation and career path of warehouse work” @ Sheffield
港僑協會請來Mr. Ramin Sadeghi (the Managing Director of Topteam resources & recruitment) 為在英香港人解說稅務須知之外，更會為大家講解首12週受僱於Agent及12週後可選擇跟倉務公司直接簽約的分別與注意事項，讓有意加入倉務工作的香港人更了解倉務職業。最後，參加者可按自己意願決定是否即場申請相關工作，大會將預備少量茶點讓大家在自由時間互相交流。

10月22日，Chickeeduck行政總裁周小龍先生應港僑協會邀請，親身來到修咸頓，與120位在地香港人分享他自2019年香港社會運動以後的營商經歷，以及他離開香港，在英國短暫生活的反思及感受。
活動吸引到不同社會角色、不同年齡層的香港人參加。除了聆聽周先生的真情分享外，參加者更在問答環節間與周先生分享在英香港人的感受，並互相鼓勵。周先生最後寄語香港人克服恐懼、繼續在新的生活環境中積極解決困難、裝備自己、勇敢前行。
It was our great pleasure to have Mr. Herbert Chow, Chief Executive Officer of Chickeeduck, coming to Southampton and sharing with 120 Hongkongers on 22 October. ⚠️申請 BN(O) 簽證續期問題⚠️
Issue of application for renewal of BN(O) visa
英國港僑協會（本會）近日向地方發展、房屋及社區部（DLUHC）及內政部反映申請 BN(O) 2.5 年期簽證港人簽證續期時所遇到的問題。內政部已回應本會並已更新英國政府網站上關於 BN(O) 簽證的指引，為大家提供額外的資訊︰

當 BN(O) 簽證持有人申請續期時，申請人的新簽證會在批出當日起計 2.5 年，而不是於原有簽證到期日後起計。在本會向英國政府反映問題後，跟據英國政府網站最新資料建議，在大部分的情況，申請人應在他們的 BN(O) 簽證過期日前不多於 28 天內申請續期，以確保他們在申請永久居留時在英國連續逗留 5 年時間。
此外，請大家留意，如果申請人以為簽證續期的日數可以添加至他們現有的居留許可，而其續期申請已經批出，英國移民署不能更改批出簽證的完結日期。然而，申請人可以就重疊期間的移民健康附加費 (Immigration Health Surcharge, IHS) 申請退款。再次申請續期時情況亦一樣。

Issue of application for renewal of BN(O) visa
英國港僑協會（本會）近日向地方發展、房屋及社區部（DLUHC）及內政部反映申請 BN(O) 2.5 年期簽證港人簽證續期時所遇到的問題。內政部已回應本會並已更新英國政府網站上關於 BN(O) 簽證的指引，為大家提供額外的資訊︰

當 BN(O) 簽證持有人申請續期時，申請人的新簽證會在批出當日起計 2.5 年，而不是於原有簽證到期日後起計。在本會向英國政府反映問題後，跟據英國政府網站最新資料建議，在大部分的情況，申請人應在他們的 BN(O) 簽證過期日前不多於 28 天內申請續期，以確保他們在申請永久居留時在英國連續逗留 5 年時間。
此外，請大家留意，如果申請人以為簽證續期的日數可以添加至他們現有的居留許可，而其續期申請已經批出，英國移民署不能更改批出簽證的完結日期。然而，申請人可以就重疊期間的移民健康附加費 (Immigration Health Surcharge, IHS) 申請退款。再次申請續期時情況亦一樣。

🏳️🌈 2023 年 7 月 1 日，英國港僑協會 ( HKB ) 率領 50 名 LGBTQ+ ( 同性戀、雙性戀、跨性別、酷兒與其他性少眾 ) 香港人及其盟友 ( allies ) 參與倫敦同志遊行，標誌著英國港僑協會成為首個公開支持 LGBTQ+ 群體並參加該著名遊行的在英港人團體。
💗 作為香港文化融入英國社會的標誌性代表，隊伍舉著寫有「IT'S LOVE 係愛呀」之橫額，用英語和香港語表達對愛的肯定。 遊行隊伍還揮舞著印有獅子山的彩虹旗及橫額，象徵著我們對在香港爭取 LGBTQ+ 平權堅定不移的支持。
🏳️🌈 On 1 July, 2023, Hongkongers in Britain (HKB) spearheaded a group of 50 LGBTQ+ Hongkongers and allies to proudly participate in the Pride in London Parade. This momentous occasion marked the first-ever Hongkonger organisation in the UK to vocally support the LGBTQ+ community and take part in the renowned parade.
