Anne Longfield, former children's commissioner for England, is representing 3.5 million children under 13 to sue #TikTok for obtaining data illegally. If TikTok indeed convicted, they will be fined for 1 billion pounds.
According to Anne, TikTok has been collecting unnecessary data from children & transferred them to third parties. They also purposely made unclear terms so that users will not find out which part has the right to use those data.
