Another historic figure disappeared in Hong Kong. Yen Chow Street Hawker Bazaar was forced to end by Food and Environmental Hygiene Department on Jan 31st, 2 days before it was scheduled. Started in 1970s, the Bazaar was once an international recognized garment source while the garment and textile industry was blooming during the 70s and 80s. At its peak, there were 190 stalls. Until its last day, it was still a haven for designers and fashion design students in Hong Kong.

The Bazaar had gone through a lot of crisis. #HKGov had proposed to close down the bazaar since 2005 . However, it was able to survive time and time again. Now, Hong Kong has not only lost a small bazaar, but also the memories and culture that were left behind.
After Pro-democrats dominated the last district council election, #HKGov significantly reduce number of seats people can vote for down to 88. But appointed councils will be increase up to 179 and councils elected by appointed voters will be increased up to 176.
The district council will no longer be interested in serving the community any longer.

#HKGov arrested 4 men claiming they support wanted #Hongkongers who fled #HongKong.
Which means #NationalSecurityLaw also undermine the freedom of business.
#CCP has completely destroyed the city.
Breaching Joint Declaration, destroying freedom and democracy, disqualifying elected law-makers & district councils, arresting protesters and using excessive force on citizens. The #CCP, #HKGov & #HKPolice are the real liars!

Secretary for Security Chris Tang said Article 23 would target “soft resistance” & “internet loopholes”.
In short, when article 23 is passed, #HkGov can arrest anyone without reason. No 1 will be safe in HK. To this gov’t, anything can be identify as “soft resistance”.

Several #HongKongers returned to Hong Kong from UK got arrested for getting their MPF (Mandatory Provident Fund).

This is just an excuse for the #HKGov to punish #HongKongers for immigrating to the UK. The #UKGov must take action!

A new angle of how Yuen Long thugs attacked citizens undiscriminately is released after 51 months. #HKPolice closed down their brigades & purposely not answering emergency calls to allow this attack to happen. Now, the #HKGov is desperately changing the scenario.
