The June4th Vigil held every single year in #HongKong. The purpose of it was to remember those innocent people who were killed on June 4, 1989 by the PLA in China. For the past 40 years, people in #HK were free to assemble & remained as the last place that held the Vigil. With the judge to point out the 4's a political motives & prosecuted them for it was directly helping #CCP to cover up the #tiannemensquaremassacre. It is basically another way of saying that whoever pointed out the crimes #Beijing has committed will be put behind bars.

Tankie Man: The Pro-Democracy Hong Kongers Standing Up to Western Communists
When a still unidentified man stepped in front of a line of tanks that were leaving Tiananmen Square the day after the massacre that killed around 1,000 student protesters, it was at the risk of his life. The same cannot be said for modern day pro-democracy activists, who are standing up to modern day tankies — that’s Western, often young, supporters of communist, authoritarian regimes — considering most of the battling is taking place online.

China Planning 'Unprecedented' Tiananmen Memorial Crackdown: Report
Beijing will take "unprecedented heavy-handed measures" to crack down on next month's vigil in Hong Kong to mark the Tiananmen Square massacre, a Beijing-friendly local outlet said Tuesday.
The annual gathering in Victoria Park—banned on health grounds for a second year running—is a "minefield" for those planning to attend on June 4, according to online news portal HK01. It will be the first memorial since China's sweeping Hong Kong national security law came into effect on June 30 last year.

It's very hard to write a caption for such a traumatic episode of the #HongKong protests, which aftermath continues to be felt today. Only a few years ago, it was impossible to imagine anything so much as violent conflicts happening in a protest in #HK, after all, our protests were known to the world to be peaceful and extremely orderly. But #PolyU, a university in the heart of the city, was literally turned into a warzone, by the unscrupulous #CCP.
