@HSBC helps #CCP to prosecute Ted Hui, a former Law Maker who currently exile to #UK. #HSBC froze his and his family's account right after he announced his exile. There is no excuse for HSBC to undermine #humanright in such abusive manner.
#GovHK requires citizens to register sim cards with real name is a #humanright catastrophe. This takes away the right of anonymity & activists will be exposed. This is the way Beijing wipe out opposing opinion and consolidate its power.

Trading is of course important to every country. However, trading with countries that are not up to the international #HumanRight standard will only strengthen those dictator governments, giving them the green light to continue suppressing citizens. In the end, more people will suffer and the free world plays a part in it.
HK court sentenced 10 activists to 14-18 months imprisonment for exercising their right to protest on 1/10/2019.

Biden Administration recently sanctioned 7 officials from Liaison's office to hold them accountable for #HongKong's crackdown & #AppleDaily close down.
Comparing to previous sanctions, they are lower level officials. The effect towards #CCP or #HKGov is limited. Rather than giving #CCPChina pressure, it gives a signal to them that what US can do to preserve #HumanRight in HK & pretect US citizen is limited.
On contrary, because the effect on the sanction is limited, #Beijing will impose harder policies on HK.
Shortly after Professional Teachers Union (HKPTU) was forced to disband, #CivicHumanRightsFront, an organizer for most protests in #HK is also threaten to disband from #NationalSecurityLaw & #CCP news outlet.

Greece is now merely a colony of CCP, an authoritarian bureaucrat that assists CCP to whitewash dissents.
Over & over, we see democratic countries following #CCP's agenda and support their #HumanRightsViolations. Now, people are arrested because of their race & political stands. This is a political arrest that is racist, violate #humanright & undermine #freedomofspeech. This is wrong in multiple levels. The issue has become more than just about #BoycottBeijingOlympics. But it's about #CCP destroying the #ruleoflaw in other countries.
The problem isn't the Vax, but the Vax pass. It enables Gov't to blame, discriminate & demonize the sick instead of taking up the responsibility such as tracing the orgin, preparing medical resources & equipments. At the same time, ignoring medical privacy, #humanright, and even forcing people out from their jobs. And they are doing it all in citizen's expense.

The Ukraine crisis isn't only a #humanright but it will also affect the stability of South China Sea. If #EU & #USA don't react swiftly, it will send a signal to #CCP that there is no consequences when invading other countries, especially #Taiwan.
This recent arrest of Koo Sze Yiu highlights the ongoing concerns about the erosion of freedom of protest in Hong Kong. The government's actions in accusing him of seditious intent and arresting him for his alleged involvement in activities related to protest raise questions about the extent to which the authorities are undermining the right to peaceful assembly and expression. This incident adds to the growing apprehension surrounding the state of civil liberties and human rights in Hong Kong.
