#HongKong
According to InMediaHK today’s court news, the trial on 2019-11-18 #YauMaTei Stampede, during pro-democracy movement, has begun.
A cop from Special Duties Unit SDU (SWAT team) testified and denied there was a stampede, said it was just a couple of protesters “tripped”.
Yes it was a stampede.
It was my birthday I remember it pretty clear, been watching the live-streaming all night.
As shown in video, at least 3 vehicles of the #HKPF rammed into the crowd, everyone was panic and rushed to the same direction.
There were first aid volunteer and a journalist whose from the US at the scene, they interviewed one of the officials from fire department, he admitted there was a stampede, and at least 70 people injured.
The cop who testified said he didn’t help the injuries.
Oh of course they did, they “helped” broke their legs when the wounded left unconscious on the ground.
I dunno if any of these videos ever put on the trial as evidences, but there is no just in the city right now.
