The #Nationalsecuritylaw left no room for unions organized by the people. What kind of country feels its security threatened by the voices of people...?

What kind of society are they trying to build? I hate to cite it over and over again … but really feel like in a 1984 scene.

No words anymore, or perhaps these: we can humble as dust, not twisted as maggots.

CCP loves boasting about "cultural confidence", we're really feeling it from how secretive they keep #XiJinping's #HongKong visit, how excessive and disrupting security measures are. The more they're trying to remind us of our "return to motherland" (everywhere you look there is a 🇨🇳), the more repulsed #HongKongers grow. Btw, why is 1 July celebrated as a "return"? I thought we were never colonized...? 😂

On the 25th anniversary of #HongKong's handover, we take a look into how #CCP's #NationalSecurityLaw is a sham, a pretext to crackdown on #HK's identity and liberty. This "law" descended arbitrarily and abruptly onto us 2 years ago today, the bottom line is this: whatever actions or words #Beijing doesn't like is a potential breach of "national security", one man's insecurity ruins 7 million people's lives.
