The Uyghur Tribunal is a London-based independent panel that investigates China's human rights abuse in Xinjiang. It is made up of lawyers and academics and has recently (9-Dec-2021) ruled that CCP China has committed genocide against minorities in Xinjiang.

The tribunal was formed because the International Court of Justice (ICJ) was out of the question since China is a member of the UN Security Council and can veto its passage. The International Criminal Court (ICC) was also not an option, as it has no jurisdiction in Xinjiang because Beijing is not a signatory of the ICC’s Rome Statute.

In the recent US-led Summit for Democracy - according to Reuters, Taiwan's video feed was cut off when showing a map with Taiwan in a different colour to China.

The State Department called it an "honest mistake", while the White House National Security Council (NSC) say Reuters' account is "inaccurate", denying the incident.

Taiwan's foreign ministry blamed "technical problems."
