[民間集會團隊發言人劉頴匡被捕]
民間集會團隊發言人劉頴匡於今日傍晚七時召開記者招待會，交代下午集會情況後遭警方即場拘捕，涉嫌違反不反對通知書條件，被送往灣仔警署。
民間集會團隊已安排律師到灣仔警署跟進，並已為劉送上伙食。待律師跟劉見面後才可確認被捕原因。
民間集會團隊對警方強行腰斬集會予以強烈讉責，並對警方無理拘捕發言人劉頴匡表示憤慨。我們會繼續捍衛香港人的集會自由權利，並呼籲香港人一同關注其他被捕人士。

Hong Kong Civil Assembly Team (HKCAT) spokesperson, Mr Ventus Lau, was arrested yesterday evening for suspected violation of conditions set out on the Letter of No Objection issued for the mass assembly yesterday. After a face-to-face consultation between Lau and his lawyer, the police amended the the charges into ‘Obstruction of Police Administration’ and ‘Violation of Conditions on Letter of No Objection’.

⚠️⚠️劉頴匡現況跟進⚠️⚠️
律師傍晚與劉頴匡會面後表示，警方於今日下午與律政署開會後，決定再次更改調查方向。
劉現時有機會遭落案起訴：
1）煽惑非法集結；
2）違反不反對通知書條件。
若遭起訴，頗大機會在明天下午（21/1）於東區法院上庭。
若有最新消息，將盡快通知大家。
Latest Update on Ventus Lau’s Condition
After a meeting between Ventus Lau and his lawyer earlier this evening, the lawyer reported to the public that the police had met the Secretary of Justice this afternoon and decided to amend the direction of their investigation once again.
Currently, the potential charges to be placed on Lau are:
1) incitement to illegal public gathering;
2) violation of conditions on the Letter of No Objection.
If the prosecutions are confirmed, there is a high chance that Lau will be put onto trial tomorrow (21st January) afternoon at the Eastern Magistrates’ Courts.
We will report any further updates immediately.

惟律師表示仍未清楚以哪一條控罪起訴，但由於劉有另一單官司在身，頗大機會保釋失敗，需即時還押。
