[10.1 Lennon Wall on National Day- Tsuen Wan]

On top of the original slogans of 'Liberate Hong Kong, Revolution of Our Time' and 'Five Demands Not One Less' posted on the Lennon Wall in Tsuen Wan, pictures of Chinese leaders were also added.

There were numerous bust shot printouts of Xi Jinping plastered on the floor of the scene, forming a 'Trial of Xi Jinping'.

HK government: Lennon Wall tarnishing Hong Kong’s image

The Highways Department, Lands Department, Police Department, Transport Department and Food Environmental and Hygiene Department responded in writing to Tai Po District Council, opposing Lennon Wall displays due to environmental and hygiene concerns. They also reasoned that Lennon Walls are tarnishing Hong Kong's image abroad and aggravating societal conflicts.

Herman Yiu Kwan-ho, member of Community Alliance did not agree with the reasons given by the government and countered this argument by saying that the behaviour of the police force could be more damaging to Hong Kong’s reputation.
