Police arrested few youngsters in few districts this week at late night time, suspected to be putting up posters on Lennon Walls. Police arrested them and charged them with Vandalism, usually release them on bail after more than 10 hrs.

Police Made Arrest in Shatin and Closed the Lennon Tunnel in Kwun Tong

In Shatin at 23:45, police arrested at least 2 men and 1 woman in Shatin Park allegedly for posting posters and art works related to the movement near Shing Mun River.

Onlookers said at least 4 to 5 young people were arrested. Onlookers tried to intervene by asking the police for the reason of their arrests, but their own personal details were then checked by the police.

After midnight, riot police closed down a pedestrian tunnel in Kwun Tong where a Lennon Wall is located. Police at the site refused to disclose the cause.

More than one hour later, police brought out bags of evidence including some buckets of glue. When the reporter approached a plain-clothed officer for question, the officer covered and masked his face immediately.

Police Fired Tear Gas at Citizens Who Helped Out a Stuck Car

A sit-in was mobilized in Yuen Long during the evening of October 26, in protest of the absence of the police during the Triad attack on citizens on July 21. Similar to October 21 but unlike July 21, police were quickly deployed in the area. Citizens were cornered and stop-searched. Some were subdued and arrested.

During the evening, a private car accidentally was stuck at the roadblock located on Castle Peak Road in Yuen Long. Citizens at the scene immediately reached out to help clear debris caught in the tyres and the car managed to leave.

Riot police then arrived at the scene and fired tear gas at the crowd who helped the car leave.
