Families and Friends of the Arrestees Waiting Outside Police Station After Midnight
As the protest against Beijing's breach of One Country Two Systems on May 24, police arrested at least 180 civilians. After midnight, over 30 relatives and friends of the arrestees were still waiting outside of the North Point Police Station.
A woman was waiting for her younger brother. She was arrested before and her brother had waited for her. She said with the switch of role, she now understood how helpless and frustrated her brother felt.
She reiterated that it is necessary to speak up for rights and justice.
