On Jordan Road, a newspaper stand was lit on fire and a tear gas canister was found in the debris. The owner was dragged away by riot police as he tried to put out the flames. The wife of the owner said that she will try and make a complaint against the police.

Police Delay Arrestees' Medical Treatment

Police cordoned off the scene at 02:45, claiming that not before the police finished collecting evidence, could the paramedics treat the wounded. Among many others, the two people in the photos had waited for more than one hour to receive medical assistance.
