Police Tear Gas Shot into Journalist's Bag

Under the rain of teargas, a tear gas was shot into the backpack of a foreign journalist, which was fuming. Protesters helped the reporter to take out his personal items from his bag and stop the teargas canister from combusting.

However, police kept shooting the journalist. Protesters blocked the bullets with umbrella and self-made shield in order to let the reporter flee.

1759 Armored vehicle broke the road blocks while protesters fought back with molotov cocktails.

1801 A fleet of police vehicles reinforced along the Chatham Road South and turned into Granville Road

1808 Riot police deployed on Tsim Sha Tsui East footbridge, and shone accent light on members of the public. Police also dispersed crowds at Granville Road behind the Science Museum.

At 16:00, "May your glory be to Hong Kong" Prayer Assembly was held in Central.

Participants formed a spectacular human chain, starting from Chater Garden, along Cheung Kong Center, Government House and Bank of China Tower to The Court of Final Appeal.

Mad Dog Daily: Photography Journalist Shot and Sent to Hospital for Emergency Surgery

Protestors and policemen have been fighting outside Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) for two consecutive days. Internet Media Mad Dog Daily photographer, Mr. Lee Hing-chuen, was shot by the police’s specialised crowd management vehicle outside Poly U. According to the Paper, Lee was severely wounded in the head and the waist.

He suffers from cerebral microbleeds and emergency surgery is required. All the audiovisual equipment he was carrying had been broken.
