Defiant #Hongkongers continue to show respect despite tightened police grip
With #NationalSecurityLaw being put in place since July 2021, the once freest city in the world, Hong Kong, has lost its freedom and is gradually becoming a police state.
Ob July 1, 2021, a citizen took his life to knife a police officer durle to his grief against police collusions.
Immediately following the knifing incident, HK police stepped up their control.
Hongkongers didn't give up. Although there was no major mourning ceremony, small gatherings continued and scattered around the city in small allys and streets to pay respect to the deceased.
