Citizens Call For a Moment of Silence at 20:09, Marking 12 hours of Chow's death

Reverend Chu Yiu-ming led the memorial service of 22-year-old student Chow Tsz-lok at the University of Science and Technology.

[Editor's note: Reverend Chu is one of the conveners of Occupy Central with Love and Peace in 2014. Chow passed away at 08:09 on November 8.]

Grieving throughout Hong Kong for 22-year-old Student Chow Tsz-lok

20:14 Mongkok

After the moment of silence, citizens at Sai Yeung Choi Street chanted slogans:“Hong Kongers, Take Revenge!” and “Strike on Monday!” Many people line up to give flowers.

20:22 Kwun Tong Promenade
Thousands of citizens crowd the promenade to observe a minute of silence and read out Bible verses for Chow.

20:25 New Town Plaza, Shatin
Citizens chanted, “Form Union, Support the Strike!”. A massive number of paper cranes are displayed in the atrium.

20:30 Sai Lau Kok Garden, Tsuen Wan
Citizens place candles in the form of a cross.

20:34 Wong Tai Sin
