【北京冬奧外援運動員有特權持有雙重國藉】（Part 2/2）
中國駐泰的一領事館外交人員周五（11日）中午就明確向本台記者證實，即便是原來是中國公民，一旦入了外國籍，即便是原中國護照還在有效期內，也不能持中國護照入境。
駐泰外交官：按照規定不行的。這邊的話如果入了籍，那中國籍就被取消啊。如果你已經辦理了手續，那它就是把你取消了。
但她以不知道為由，拒絕回應谷愛凌等外籍人士為何可以做到同時公開保留雙國籍身份。

據悉，谷愛凌等外籍運動員代表中國隊參賽事件，其幕後的主要推手機構，是中國國家體育總局。該機構的最高領導、總局局長苟仲文，同時也兼任中國奧委會主席一職。
但在面對谷愛凌的國籍之爭時，該局官員避而不談，表示只能記錄相關問題，而無法直接作答。
體育總局：谷愛凌沒有放棄美國國籍，你們在哪兒查的？我先把你的情況記錄一下呀。甚麼怎麼看？你說我們怎麼看？我也不太清楚，我只是記錄下你的問題，我先給你記錄，解答不了你這個問題。
而在中國負責外籍人士歸化事宜的直接管理機構則是隸屬於公安部的國家移民管理局。但該局官員聽說是關於谷愛凌國籍問題，則直接拒絕回應，而是推給了熱線部門。國家移民局新聞發言辦公室則一直拒絕接聽電話。
移民局：你是哪個單位？是從境外打來的吧？你要是諮詢業務呢，就打12367，如果公對公呢，你就發函。我們沒法為你轉接。
中國官方在國籍問題上一直任意「搬龍門」。禁止雙重國籍從來不能制約中共隨意抓捕已入外籍的原中國公民及打壓異議人士。其中最被人熟知的例子包括已入籍瑞典的銅鑼灣書店及巨流出版社負責人桂民海，2015年被中方派人從泰國住所綁架回國，後被以「向境外提供情報」判囚，儘管患有罕見疾病，仍不被准許離境。中方理由是，雖然中國法律禁止雙重國籍，雖然桂民海已入籍瑞典，但他「首先是中國人」。
在香港，「47人初選案」被告吳政亨，據報擁有澳大利亞與中國雙重國籍，港府則以不承認雙重國籍為由，拒絕准予外國領事援助。「12港人案」中，仍被關押的郭子麟，擁有葡萄牙國籍。
