英國破紀錄40.3度 倫敦多處火警進入重大事件狀態
歐洲多國熱浪持續，英國氣象局星期二在林肯郡錄得破紀錄的攝氏40.3度。高溫天氣下，倫敦多處發生火警。在東部郊區溫寧頓村，大火燒毀農田及房屋，消防派出過百人灌救。倫敦消防宣布進入重大事件狀態，呼籲居民不要燒烤，以免增加火警的風險。市長簡世德形容，消防正處於巨大壓力下。

The latest peak high stands at 40.3C in Coningsby, according to provisional figures from the Met Office, but it's just one of at least 29 observation sites across England where the previous 2019 record has been broken.
Scotland has recorded its hottest day with a temperature of 34.8C.
The Met Office confirmed the high was recorded at Charterhall in the Scottish Borders.

「7‧21」三周年臨近，多個英國港人組織籌備紀念活動。其中有港人製作短片，希望大眾不要遺忘「這個崩壞的開端」，並使當地人了解事件，希望爭取更多人支持香港民主運動。
海外港人組織 #蘇格蘭香港人 近日製作的短片《憶‧元朗黑夜》（https://youtu.be/YLxB0QxseAs），在蘇格蘭Glasgow地鐵取景，並穿插2019年7月21日晚上元朗發生的白衣人暴打市民記者、時任立法會議員 #何君堯 跟 #白衣人 握手等片段。
前葵青區議員、「蘇格蘭香港人」創辦人 #郭子健 接受本報訪問時表示，「7‧21」是反送中運動的轉捩點，當日警方的不作為及警黑合作，日後更盛行於香港。「不單止讓好多人對警察、政府的仇恨加劇，亦讓我們看到，我們返唔到轉頭（我們回不去了），民主路上只能背水一戰。」
郭子健稱，短片在取捨拍攝手法方面，花了較多時間。他們今次嘗試透過新形式，以海外港人憶想事件為引子，藉以喚起港人對公義的繼續追求。他說：「無論在海外或香港，保持抗爭的熱情；而在海外的我們，繼續爭取更多人支持 #香港民主運動。」他們對於香港人來說，記憶猶新的3年前的畫面，扣連格拉斯哥地鐵和生活片段，是希望喚起更多非香港人注意，「亦盼望移英的大家，不要忘記我們所愛的香港」。
他說身在海外，希望透過短片與大眾重溫事件，呼籲不要遺忘「7‧21」之餘，亦希望大家知道，仍有很多人為「7‧21」事件保存真相而努力，如影片中自己在閱讀由 #柳俊江 所著的《元朗黑夜》，是重構歷史真相的重要參考材料。
離散港人盼引起當地人注意
「蘇格蘭香港人」會在「7‧21」當日在愛丁堡（Edinburgh）鴨巴甸（Aberdeen）和格拉斯哥均舉辦街站和默站紀念活動。郭子健期望，自由世界除了透過傳單和街站，亦可以在更多平台，例如YouTube，了解「7‧21」如何成為反送中運動的重要轉捩點。
郭子健亦提到，近日河南鄭州民眾無法提款，在維權時同樣被身分不明的白衣人毆打，當局迅速屏蔽消息。他批評中共治下， #警黑勾結 無日無之，公義並未彰顯。他稱會繼續用不同手法宣講中共打壓人權的真相，呼籲在蘇格蘭的人出席「7‧21」紀念活動，「在自由世界繼續與在中國被迫害的人士同行」。
