【律師黃國桐哽咽：會繼續站喺我嘅崗位 做我深信同應該做嘅事】
律師黃國桐昨日清晨被捕，被通宵扣查40小時後，於今晚11時40多分在沙田警署獲保釋。
黃國桐從警署步出後見記者，略顯疲態，言談間一度哽咽。他指被扣查期間，被盤問不止一次，亦帶去很多地方搜證，包括他的車輛、快艇等，但警方並沒有檢取到任何證物。
他說，做了律師30多年，其中有20年專做刑事案件，「直到而家為止，都係百思不得其解，我因咩理由被捕。作為律師，我哋係唔會知法犯法。」他對於今次被捕而令律師樓合伙人受影響，感到遺憾及傷感。
他說會先稍事休息，明早9時半會探望早已約定了的人，包括仍在還柙中的胡志偉，「我亦會繼續站喺我嘅崗位，用我嘅專業，做我深信同應該做嘅事。」談到此處時，他一度哽咽。
有支持者深夜仍在警署外等候，在黃步出警署時高呼「撐住呀桐叔」、「桐叔加油」。黃國桐其後登上私家車離開。
