Volunteers at the Medyka rescue center joined us talking about the meaning of the VOA’s 419 interruption incident. Nicole introduced that VOA, a US taxpayers funded international broadcast which is owned by the US government, abruptly shut down an interview with Mr. Miles Guo after receiving an order from some Chinese Communist Party (CCP) high officials. One of the volunteers said it’s heartbreaking to hear such an incident happening in the United States, which is supposed to be a symbol of freedom and democracy. Another volunteer said people need the truth and not be dissuaded by fear or threats.
