Mary Kissel, former Senior Advisor to Secretary of State Pompeo, reacts to the breaking news that Sequoia Capital announces plans to break the business up into three different firms, splitting up the Chinese and US operation. She says it is crazy to invest in Communist China where there is no rule of law, the accounting cannot be trusted, the employee safety cannot be secured, investors cannot do due diligence to calculate the “return”.
