嚟緊我哋係721會舉行公開論壇，以《多倫多港人如何延續香港社運》為題，歡迎大家到場參與。

2019距離而家已經過咗4年，而流散海外嘅港人日益增加。呢幾年都有唔少組織希望透過集會傳承記憶，避免大家變得麻木、遺忘歷史。上年呢個日子我哋亦有舉辦過集會，並係Finch station附近人流多嘅地方向local派發單張；想將港共惡行宣揚開去，避免將抗爭停留係圍爐階段。相信睇到呢個post嘅各位，或打算出席我哋呢個活動嘅人都一定知道721呢日發生過d咩事，亦清楚知道事件對我地嘅影響。上一個post我地都有提及見到呢邊嘅抗爭風氣大大減弱，有人沉醉於安逸嘅生活、亦唔少人被無力感拖垮。所以今年我地會以公開論壇代替集會，想聚集呢邊仲未放棄嘅同路人，一齊討論、發表下各自嘅睇法。亦希望以公開論壇打破one way communication模式, 提供一個平台比唔同背景嘅同路人溝通；無論係新移民、流亡人士、老華僑、啱啱放學嘅，或關注香港嘅local都歡迎出席。

論壇將會分成兩個部分，包括 「主題討論」 同 「自由發言時間」
係 「主題討論」 環節， 歡迎大家就 「多倫多港人如何在海外延續香港社運」 為主去討論下大家嘅睇法和感受等；再就相關議題提出可行嘅建議。而「自由發言」時間，我地同樣歡迎任何人揸咪講嘢。呢部分冇特定主題，但希望大家集中於政治/香港人相關議題，避免浪費時間討論八卦或進行商業宣傳等。

屆時我地Somebody會做個簡短嘅開頭嘅發言，之後歡迎各位參與者舉手發言。由於時間寶貴，每次發言時間建議係3分鐘內，限時最多5分鐘。參與者唔一定需要企係台上講嘢，我地會有helper遞咪俾大家。各位可以回應上一位嘅發言、諗到咩就講、或者準備定講稿同大家討論都得。

希望大家明白今次嘅活動屬於公開性質，即使有異見人士舉手發言亦希望大家互相尊重、理性討論，避免人身攻擊，唔好插嘴。最後，呼籲各位參與者做好保護自己嘅措施，小心鏡頭。到時見！

於早前逝世的知名法國文學家米蘭 • 昆德拉，曾經在《笑忘書》一書中提到：「人類對抗權力的鬥爭，就是記憶與遺忘的鬥爭。 」

你們還能記起三年前的元朗站恐襲嗎？記者被 #白衣人 圍毆，警察無視白衣人於元朗站持械襲擊途人，白衣人發動襲擊後警員上前「搭膊頭」的 #警黑合作，等等暴行相信大家今天仍然未敢忘記，不能忘記，特別是直至今天不論高官或警察仍沒有一人為七二一事件負上任何刑責。

過去參與街站、集會嘅朋友，或者會覺得時間距離四年前嘅事件越遠，追究責任就會變得越渺茫，似乎睇唔到公義來臨嘅可能。但係今年我哋嘅街站，只為一件事：制裁港共官員。我哋將會喺街站呼籲更多人參與聯署，促英政府制裁損港自由人權官員。7.21，蘇格蘭香港人，Edinburgh 見！

"721- 4th Anniversary 'Exhibition X Rally'"
Four years ago, on July 21("721"), triad members indiscriminately attacked ordinary citizens outside a train station in Yuen Long, Hong Kong. Not only did the police fail to respond and arrest the triad members, they also held secret talks with them and denied seeing any weapons. In the end, out of the 700+ assailants, only 8 were prosecuted. The collusion between the police and triads is evident and undeniable.

Today, four years later, justice has yet to be served. We believe that Hong Kongers will not forget the anger of that day, nor will they forgive the absurdity of the corrupt police. The upcoming "721" happens to be the hearing day where the Hong Kong government seeks to ban the song "Glory to Hong Kong" - written during the 2019 protests and adopted as the anthem for Hong Kongers. The more the authorities try to intimidate us, the more fearless and determined we must be to raise our voices! Let us sing the true anthem that belongs to Hong Kongers!
