The country's top political advisory body wrapped up its annual session in Beijing on Thursday by adopting a resolution that ensures the principle of patriots governing Hong Kong.President Xi Jinping and other state leaders attended the closing meeting of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) at the Great Hall of the People.Delegates approved a work report of the CPPCC Standing Committee and a political resolution on the annual session, among other things.The political resolution highlights the resolute and faithful implementation of One Country, Two Systems, ensuring the principle of patriots governing Hong Kong.It also upholds the one-China policy and states its opposition to Taiwan independence. In a speech, CPPCC chairman Wang Yang said while delegates may have different views towards different issues, their political stance should not waver.

中國黨媒CGTN (China Global TV Network) 被發現在Facebook 投放了21個廣告，大部分都是關於「俄烏衝突」新聞片段及中國官方的新聞稿。
經翻查，新聞片段除了堅持使用 "Russia-Ukraine Conflict" 字眼形容戰事，還加插俄軍在烏克蘭的「好人好事」，包括記者聲稱見到了俄軍往烏克蘭運送了大量人道救援物資，亦安排了俄羅斯專家解釋發起「特別軍事行動」的原因是要保護烏克蘭人，讓他們免受政府恐嚇。
China Global TV Network (CGTN), a state-controlled media has been found to have been running ads on Meta-owned Facebook, targeting global users with pro-Russian viewpoints about the war.
The ads include footages in which the journalist claims to have witnessed Russia delivering 430 tons of humanitarian aid into the Donbas region of Ukraine. An article, citing source from the Russia defence ministry, reports that evidence of U.S-funded bio-program in Ukraine has been revealed. Another interview footage has included a Russian expert explaining the reason of the military operation is to free Ukrainian from government threats.
